Bergamont that evolves into a Granny Smith apple. A lot of texture. Delicious! Had in Copenhagen. — 8 months ago
Orange peel, yuzu, lychee, kumquat, lemon curd, ginger candy, saffron, white stones, fresh herbs - sage, underbrush, tangy tingly acidity. The content is even more beautiful than the bottle. Macerated on skin for 12 months. — 3 months ago
Blind tasting no5. And I royally effed this up. Fought bitterly about Syrah and reluctantly settled on a young left bank Bordeaux. So far off…
Slightly cloud and dull purple colors should have led me away from anything with Cab. Heavy extraction and moderate intense nose of blueberry muffins. (Spice, vanilla, blue fruit.) Also strong talcum and baby powder. Dry with lower tannins and only medium acidity. Quite full body. Baked fruits and baking spices, with chalk and a looonnng finish. Bordeaux? I’m an idiot. — 2 years ago

Vintage 2022 | Really pleasant grüner veltliner with great balance and a high ‘quaffable’ factor. One of the better GV’s I have tasted. Paired with Cantonese Paksoi and Shrimps. — 17 days ago
