This is Sequoia Groves entry level Napa Cab, but it punches well above its price point. At 5 years old it was a Lucious, fruit forward cab that paired well with a variety of food, especially red meat. Nice nose, It Also enhances the flavor of chocolate. Very approachable wine. I’m not sure I can tell what is the difference between the 3yr and older versions but I’m pretty confident that side by side you will like the longer age. It’s subtle but evident and I didn’t think that right off the bat. — 2 months ago
