2008 Henriot Millésimé. Sharp nose of lemon and lime, crushed riverbed rocks and slight floral notes. Sharp and crisp on the palate, almost wishing for the acidity to take a step back for the wine to unfold. Long finish. Let’s see how this develop in a few years. — 5 years ago
Straw gold with ample refined bubbles and lots of energy. Grew its power with air in the glass. In a great spot, and destined to last a long time. Notes of citrus, pear, stone and a little pineapple. Nice acidity. A step above the 2004 Krug next to it. — 3 years ago
I loved this one, step mom knows how to pick them. Bold, smooth, bold refectory after notes. Outstanding! — 4 years ago
The owner of this property shares the name of my first ancestor who step foot in America, Jean Gautreau. My last name evolved to Gaudreau, but I made a point to collect many different years of this wine which I find excellent every time I open a bottle. This 2010 is no exception, it is delicious . — 5 years ago
A lovely Champagne that never tries to get beyond itself. Persistent small bubbles that never seem to stop with a fine mousse. Fresh brioche, apricots, and tart apples comprise the nose. Consistency is key here. This little sparkler is so solid and sturdy. Beautifully balanced, delivers at a high level that’s easily comparable to other big Champagne houses. Predominantly Chardonnay, there is a freshness and effervescence to these bubbles. Very bright and lively on the tongue, this is clearly a step above similar bottlings. Toasted almonds and toasted bread lead on the palate with vanilla and green apples bring up the rear. Such a solid, terrific Champagne, this should be your house bubbles. — 5 years ago
A step up from the standard Aluado. More depth. Less soft. Really enjoyed — 4 years ago
Great value! Founder Andrew Murray’s Vineyards is a 200-acre site, about 1,500 feet above Foxen Canyon Rd, inland portion of the Santa Ynez Valley, making the vineyard the highest in the county. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, "Tous les Jours" means “every day,” shows dark red with black fruit aromas and complex spice notes. On the palate, blueberry and black cherry with spicy cedar notes and some oak, Soft tannins, long finish. Very nice, did I say great value! — 5 years ago

This feels a step behind the 2020 but is an excellent reminder of the value presented by great dry riesling. This wine is hard to find and rightly so….its a massive and ripe Riesling in a full body style. This wine to me was teetering the on the edge of over ripeness, but nonetheless had wonderful tropical and honeyed fruits. The typical minerality was present, but that took a back seat. My only critique is that it lacked a little focus and some of the linearity I’ve experienced with other vintages from this producer. Much much better on day 2 - this has a long life ahead. Equal to or greater in drinking experience than white burgundy 2-3x the price (albeit a different experience) — 23 days ago
