Balvenie Doublewood 12yr - the nose is light with a hint of wood. On the palate you get a bit more power and a full mouth warmth. Finish gives you more of that wood and heat. It’s a good, easy drinker. Won’t go out of my way to get but wouldn’t feel bad if given a dram. — 18 days ago

A really fantastic summer scotch with notes flowers, grass, yeast, and freshly picked grains. It really jumps out of the glass with a freshness and vibrancy you’d expect more from a champagne or beer. Not super deep or rich, but that’s what makes it refreshing. Good deal too. — 10 months ago

This scotch opens up with sweet dried fruit aromas. Really smooth and coats the whole mouth as is being drunk. Deep vanilla notes, the wood is much more subtle in this expression of balviene. Thoroughly enjoyable — 5 years ago
