Oak, lime like herb in aroma. Rich, citrus, white flowers. Citrus, comfortable acidity. Each factor in the taste is showing the feature clearly. From Hunter valley which is an initial place for wine in Australia. Vat 47 Hunter Chardonnay Tyrrell’s 2018 @7546, Toscany JH, 231028-231111 — 8 months ago

Quite light with green tinges . Pretty taught on the nose , intense with lemon , lime , almost a struck match note to this . Intense and tight on the palate , touch of beeswax with the lemon and lime notes . High fresh acidity , though with enough body to cover the bones , lovely balance . This is still really young , but very promising . Come back in 10 years , will last well a further 10-15. — 5 months ago

1/2 hour decant (some fine sediment). A remarkable still dark purplish garnet with some bricking. On the nose: dark fruit, wet forest floor, anise, little tobacco, and some spearmint. Taste: creamy, lush wine with little bit of dried cherry, currants, planting soil, crushed stone, and a minty espresso medium plus finish. YUM! Still holding on at 27 years young. — a month ago
