Lovely soft tannins. Easy to drink. This blend must be 95% merlot. The 2016 vintage in 2023 is undervalued if you can find it. Enjoyed it for $60 at a high end spot. Worth multiples of that at a restaurant venue. . — 2 years ago

La venue de mes beaux-parents, l'occasion de goûter le vin de première communion de notre fils aîné ! Ça va être chouette avec une paëlla traiteur ! — 6 months ago

Winetrip Veneto.
Visit of Graziano Pra where the focus is on Soave but they also have very good Valpolicella. Nice Amarone from a colder part of Valpolicella so higher in acidity . Beautiful venue incl lunch on their Monte Bisson location. Rating is for the complete tasting. — 2 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour while we crushed some sushi at One Flew South, waiting for our connecting flight. It’s been a minute since I’ve had Scharffenberger, let alone the Rosé. Still solid. The wine poured a beautiful pink, salmon color with a moderately persistent mousse of relatively small bubbles. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberries, faint strawberry, faint peach and lemon citrus with a whiff of brioche. On the palate, dry with refreshing acidity; plenty to work with our sushi. The finish was medium. More than decent value considering the venue. Drink now. As an extra observation, the new label was a pleasant surprise as I felt the previous label was long overdue for a refresh. I don’t always feel that way as I love the labels of some OG producers but this was needed IMO. Bravo. — 10 months ago
€15.90 on the restaurant wine list. The wine list said it is a blend but the bottle only mentions Tempranillo. Pleasant enough to order again. Restaurant will be changing name/venue soon. Enjoyed our meals here overlooking the boardwalk & beach. — 2 years ago

Experienced this producer last year and wasn’t a fan but everyone deserves a second chance….Mr Prieure is redeeming himself…..Sommelier was a big fan too, recommending this over some other big names…..tasting notes: very light and delicate, scents of pickled cucumber (yes, really) and rhubarb. Not our usual deep berry concentration, this one is much more sophisticated, and deserving of the occasion and venue! — 5 months ago
