At Ferraro’s Ristaurante in Vegas. Very bright. Good acid. Age worthy. — 2 years ago
What a shocker in the wine bar at guest house Casa Rossella in the Tunuta di Arceno vineyards. First that we are free to open a pristine looking bottle and second that it is still perfectly drinkable if not well over the hill! Neck fill is full like new wines, cork in good enough shape to come out in one piece using crappy butterfly opener. Nose dominated by acidic berries and thin earthiness. Palate still lively though rather one dimensional but got that old wine feel I like so much, Finnish long though thin. Lost couple of pegs next day when Joe and Chris tasted. Give it a niner for surviving! Not a fancy label either. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage.
41 % Merlot, 34 % Cabernet Franc, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 5 % Petit Verdot.
12 months in French Oak.
Black cherries, underbrush and black flowers on the nose.
Bright acidity with ripe plums, cherries, minerals, rose and licorice with a peppery finish.
Lovely texture. — 10 months ago
Always very firm in its youth it’s finally drinking well right now with fruit, nicely developed round tannins and underlined acidity that’s there but doesn’t stand out (wouldn’t peg this as Italian in a blind tasting and probably not old world). — 6 years ago

I was told this is a shining example of chianti, it turns out this is a beautiful wine. Can't say a bad thing about it. The alcohol integration is great. You just get great Italian flavors here. Would buy again. — a month ago
