If they were the same price then I’d take the Bongran, but at 2 for 1 I’ll take this. Very similar, just a little lighter bodied

EJ THEvenent produces unique wines in that the grapes are picked much later than other white Burgundies and consequently The Wine has a hint of sweetness and the wine is not released four or more years after the grapes are harvested. The wines are bigger and bolder than other wines from Macon — 2 days ago

Can tell that everything is there to be a great wine but it just feels like the age has taken a bit off of it's zippy exciting edge. Feels and tastes a little flat. Like I would have probably loved this 2 years ago...
Still solid though. — 7 years ago

M.T. Sritharan
Grape: 100% Chardonnay
Region: Viré-Clessé
Producer: Domaine André Bonhomme
What to expect:
* Nose: Ripe lemon, yellow apple, pear, white flowers, a touch of honey.
* Palate: Richer and rounder than Chablis, but fresher and less oaky than many Côte de Beaune whites.
* Texture: Creamy with excellent minerality and a long, saline finish.
* Style: Elegant rather than powerful. — 5 days ago
