Apples evolving to stone fruits over an hour. Very nice indeed. — 8 years ago
Smoky petrol and wet mushroom, but an attractive honeyed quality keeps it fresh. Sweetness muted by age and blazing acidity — 8 years ago
First wine in a while that I actually will drink and not taste. A deep golden aged color with a complex nose of savory/sweet. Caramel/foie gras, opulent. But a minerality emerges after 3-5 minutes. Beautiful fresh palate with some pretty notes of lime zest, light petrol and terrific finesse. Finishes light and citrusy with that lime showing on the finish. Will surely open up over the next few hours. Ready to go. UPDATE: on day 2 this improved vastly with lovely herbal aromas, and amazingly vivid and deep fruit and long complex finish. Wow. — 9 years ago
Very good, typical Riesling fruit, a Rheingau Grand Cru (Großes Gewächs, GG) as it is supposed to be — 2 years ago
Good bit of petrol on the nose. Not quit as rich as I would have imagined. Plenty of fruit left. Drinking really lovely. Oh Lotus of Siam, how I cannot wait to be back! — 8 years ago

Funky stuff! Ripe peach with a grain of salt and just a hint of benzol. — 2 months ago
