The 2022 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills wafts up a delicately spicy blend of dusty black cherries, ground cloves and dried roses. It is round and supple yet lifted in feel, with crisp red berry fruits elevated by a core of zesty acidity as hints of sour citrus add cheek-puckering tension. This tapers off long and perfumed with a bed of crunchy tannins that frames the experience remarkably well. I would never guess that the 2022 hails from a warm vintage. Light to medium garnet/ruby color. Aromas of red berries, wild herbs, baking spices and earth. Blend of strawberry, sour cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, raspberry along with some dark berry fruit on the palate. There are also notes of salami, black tea and dried herbs. Medium bodied but quite concentrated. Long finish includes a hint of graphite. Very “Beaujolais-like” in style. (Carbonic Maceration?) Solid. — 3 months ago

Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and sweet nutty notes, adding a leesy touch. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and pear with lemon citrus, vanilla and toasty oak, slight creamy texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, nuts, toasty oak and savory lemon Chablis character. — 2 months ago
Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry with earthy herbs and citrus notes. Fine integrated tannins on medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice! — 4 months ago

An excellent, smooth wine with floral notes. A little less powerful than other vintages I have tried from Lynch-Bages. Cassis, blackberries, blueberries, milk chocolate, a hint of vanilla, and mushrooms. — 6 days ago
Lip-smacking and delicious! We had this with some shrimp summer rolls, some salmon, and some Wagyu, and it was wonderful with all of them. We also had a 2012 Roederer and a 2016 Brunello and it wasn’t outclassed. There is a tension in this wine: the freshness of the fruit and the tannins and the acidity and the earthy depth all came through with focused clarity. This was a wine with a dynamic sense of place and personality. Thank you Greg Brewer! — 3 months ago

The entirety of Napa Valley white wine condensed into a bottle. Little sweet, but mostly dry and a good bit of acid. Delicate aromas of pear, apricot, and a little hint of barrel in there. On the palate it's minerally upfront with the aforementioned fruits and a crisp dry finish. The little bit of age was not a detractor, I would absolutely drink this again and share it around. — 8 days ago
