79/13/6/2 blend of Malvasia Bianca, Muscat, Viognier and Riesling. Pale white in color, sparkling clarity. Floral notes in nose, almost dry, peach, nectarine, spice and lemon flavors in finish. Fairly crisp, match with food or just sip. Slight mineral and astringency in aftertaste. Respectably tasty — 3 years ago

Dos Cabezas Wineworks

Toscano Sangiovese Blend 2016

Spicy cherry and raspberry. Smoked meats, tar, leather but still with punchy fruit. Not quite at the level of the ‘13 El Campo but still nice. — 4 years ago

Very well balanced blend. Just a touch of fruit with subtle tannins and a delicate, crisp finish. Maybe her new favorite wine. Excellent! — 4 years ago

Dos Cabezas Wineworks

Pink Wine Garnacha Rosé Blend

73/13/7/5/2 blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Monastrell, Graciano and Piquepoul Blanc. Pink to red rose petal in color (it’s not just the artwork) light cherry aroma, Good tangerine-cherry-white pepper flavor consistent with two main red varietals here. Not quite bone dry but close. Nice acidity and mineral finish. Muted flavors overall but a fine wine for sipping on a hot day. Paired so well with a Bianco Verde pizza al fresco last week at Pizzeria Bianco that I went out and bought a bottle. — 4 years ago
