Starter to dinner with friends & what a revelation. Croatian red ( from the Adriatic coast). A shimmery light blood red. Nose with Cracked pepper, fresh picked raspberries, & a wee bit of barnyard funk; on the palate chewy, concentrated red fruits &. Low but present tannins, medium + acidity. Might be a good red with fish? For 20$ a lot of well constructed wine. Kreslo & Zev selections, Fruit of the Vines imp. — 3 years ago
Unfiltered, white peach in the glass. Strong petrol and reminds me of being in a port cave, dank, and peaty on the nose. Honey, whiskey, and over ripe stone fruit notes without being sickly sweet. Tart, acidic and smoky notes at the finish uplift and balance this wine. Certainly reminds me of a vin jaune (but much more enjoyable). Exceptional with a bloomy rind cheese. — 3 years ago
Orange wine. Lovely and light and funky and freaky in all the right ways. Super drinkable. From the juras, zev rovine — 5 years ago

Like the dinner guest whom you’ll know will make everyone smile: A natural, unfiltered spritz of a wine. Sicilian red blend. Dark berries & cassis, dances on the palate & absolutely joyous- not the least because of a cost south of 12$. Quite dry though the fruit makes a push. I could see reaching for this to sub for a dry Lambrusco. Curious about the fairly substantial age (6 yrs) for such a style. Zev Rovine importer. — 2 years ago
