On the nose sour cherry, under ripe plum, tomato leaf, oregano, terra cotta, a little bloody; on the palate sour cherry, earth, leather, high acid, medium tannin, rustic; textbook Sangiovese. For 24 usd at a local restaurant wine shop, excellent. — 3 months ago
Absolutely fantastic; pours a golden hue, aromas of white flowers, citrus oil, tangerine, grapefruit, wet stone; palate of various citrus, tangerine, loads of minerals, sea spray; dry and long. I love this producer, thanks @Lyle Fass — 12 days ago

Some nice florals on the nose, a little bloody and meaty; moderately complex. Palate with fine grained tannins, red and black fruits; some chalky minerals, but a pretty big dose of brett unfortunately. Still, the fruit does come through, with a moderate finish. Day 2; less brett and more fruit, still tight, needs 5 years but second day is much better — 16 days ago

Varietally correct, a nice summer wine; dry minerals and some citrus and floral character. The Villaine name jacked the price up and it’s simply not worth it. — 2 days ago
