Giacomo Borgogno & Figli

No Name Langhe Nebbiolo 2019

The first bottle was corked, but the second came quickly to the rescue. Boom! Absolutely singing. Roses, cherries, and spices on the nose. On the palate, red and black fruits, orange peel, and a nice earthy edge. Full-bodied with chewy tannins, yet the finish was almost ethereal. Loved the energy here! Plus, there’s plenty of stuffing to age. — a year ago

Azienda Agricola Stanislao Radikon

"S" Slatnik Venezia Giulia Chardonnay Tocai Friulano 2020

Lovely orange. Almond and cider. As others note, a bit less chewy than Radikons. A good intro versus some of the other more concentrated bottles. — a year ago

Funkiest Lambrusco I’ve had. Likely Serapateona grape variety based on color. No sulfur additions per the producer. Wow. — a year ago
