When most people say "old vines" they mean 35-50 years old. Why? Because older vines tend to produce wines of greater concentration, depth and complexity. Also, the older the vine the lower the yield so you need a lot of old vines to produce a fraction of what the younger vines can produce. But the quality is far greater than what young vines can give you. In the #Rothenpfad, for example, the vines average 85 years and these Rieslings are incredibly rich, full-bodied and extremely complex...plus they age beautifully. This #2011 has an almost chewy texture for a #Riesling and will stand up to rich sauces and grilled meats with any red wine. #ClemensBusch #Rieslinglover

A perfect champagne to celebrate a perfect friendship! Cheers to your new fabulous home Melanie!🥂 Loving sharing this 2011 vintage with you! What an elegant and feminine Champagne with a blend of Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from Cumières. Delicate hints of strawberry and rhubarb with a mineral finish with impeccable finesse. #champagne #vintagechampagne #2011 #louisroederer #saturdaynight #celebration #housewarming #funtimes #vin_elegance — 5 years ago
Incredibly solid pajana in 2011. 30 minutes in the decanter and it starts to really show. Built for another 15-20, though. #barolo #2011 #underratedvintage — 7 years ago
Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Another solid Cabernet from Alpha Omega. Drinking beautifully right now after 30-min decanting.
アルファオメガのカベルネです。友人をおもてなしする際も安心して開けられるワインですね。30分程度のデキャンタですぐに楽しめるワインでした。

2011 Spottswoode Family Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (The 30th Anniversary Bottling)
I could not wait any longer and decided to open this. Trust the producer. 2011 was a difficult year, but the very top winemakers make great wines under the most difficult condition. Cassis, dark chocolate, plum, mint, herbs, pencil and minerals. Lighter than expected. Medium-bodied. Delicious. Would love to compare it with their 2010 vintage which RP gave 100 points.
