Drinking gorgeously right now. Nose still showing ripe dark red berry/cherry, with secondary notes of leather and mahogany furniture developing. also some warm gravel. Remarkable balance in the mouth. Fruit and acids, tannins resolving to a point of velvety softness.

The savory and youthful 2013 Argiano BDM displays an attractive ruby/garnet, Bing cherry appearance, as the color is backed up by perfumed aromatics and flavors of all types of red berries and cherries.
It is nicely balanced and well structured with juicy acidity, and supporting, light dusty tannins at the long, lip smacking finish. Overall, very Pinot Noir-ish. The combination of aging in barrique and large oak barrels creates an interesting complexity and texture not typically found in other BDMs. Great stuff!!

Brunellostunder är högtidsstunder!
Uttalad doft av fat, rosor och örter. Bra syra, någon fruktsötma av röda bär, tydligast körsbär. Någon örtighet och kanske lite tobak lurar i bakgrunden. Sandiga tanniner och långt, varmt avslut. Man tackar!
