I love Paso Robles wines that are accessible early as is this Cab! Presents with dark berries, cassis, dark chocolate, espresso, mild tar, black licorice, wet soil and violets. Style is extracted, oak a bit heavy (which I expected) overall a nice Cab..scored a decent price!

Powerful fruit, but balanced and elegant. Impressive for such a young cab. Great example of the excellence of Paso wines. Not exactly a steal though.

Wow. Very subtle? Not.
As stated on the backside of the bottle, all the expressions of the region are in the bottle. Included the warmth. It's al lot of wine.

Austin Hope is excellent every time. This went perfectly with the filet mignon for my 57th birthday at our favorite spot, Hannah’s steakhouse in Rancho Santa Margarita. With good friends, the Noce’s.

Had this with some beef. Overall I felt it was a bit boring with a bitter aftertaste. Didn’t really open up in to anything. Was basically a consistent flavor but not worth the $60 price. Bummer.
