Azienda Agraria Lisini
Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese
Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, Italy
100% estate grown Sangiovese, aged in oak for 48 months. Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe berry fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of juicy cherry and ripe blackberry with cacao, cedar spice and gentle pepper spice. Fine tannins, great mouthfeel and balance, complex long finish ending with earthy tobacco, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! Aging Well!

Excellent, the warmer year is barely noticeable in comparison to other producers. Highly recommended!

First Brunello I really remember making an impression on me. Not super expressive on the nose but was drinking well at the time. Tannins were very silky.

Not as good as the 2009, but still an excellent wine. My bottle had started to turn and had some stewed prune flavor, but after 2 hours open smelled and tasted of earth and leather, while still velvety, elegant and smooth.
