Wow for a Haut Medoc this is amazing great big currants and Mocha spice ants ( I know it's weird but crushed black ants in a good way ) a massive wine would never guessed Haut Medoc - would have guessed St. Julien Great balance

A serviceable claret. Classic accords of dried leaves, leather, cedar and fresh cassis. Good typicity, elegantly structured , very much a Kermit wine. Needs about a day uncorked to open up and knit together.

Gravelly, earthy but lean, easy to drink, leather and coffee notes.

aromas of sweet blackberries, carmelized sugar, tobacco, dried mint, black plums, cedar...this is a dark, tooth-aching sweet (but enjoyably balanced) Bordeaux. thick and enjoyable.

Prototypical and honest. Very pretty. Tanins tend to be a little pushy, but black tea notes are delicious. From Magnum.
