Dom Pérignon
Brut Champagne Blend Rosé
#AgedWineTuesday
HURRICANE PARTY
Pale salmon in color.
Light nose of citrus, strawberries, earth, light herbs and minerals.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, light cherries, limes, green apples, light grapefruits, minerals and herbs.
Long finish with limes and light almonds.
This is a delicious Rosé Champagne. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
This 16 year old is showing nice complexity at this point. Feels still young and very fresh. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
I've had this vintage a few times before, and it is very consistent.
A delicious Champagne that’s perfect for sipping on its own. Will also pair nicely with fresh seafood.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
$400.

Orange in color, very pretty and unique.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and medium sized bubbles.

Showing green apples, light grapefruits, yeast, light raspberries, citrus, limes, light earth, minerals and herbs.
This 16 year old is showing nice complexity at this point, and will continue to age nicely the next 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Dom Perignon is not my favorite Champagne, but this one is really delicious. I got to call it when I see it.
Wine Spectator 97 points. Robert Parker 97 points.
Elegant and robust. I just love this vintage for Dom Perignon.
A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Let’s face it…drinking any vintage of @domperignonofficial rosé is an incredible experience ~ and there are some serious arguments for 2008 to be the best ~ at the least I can tell you when I popped a cork the other night it was one of the most complete wines I drank all year ~ almost pointless to try and name all the fruits, flowers, herbal, savory and mineral aromatics & flavors ~ probably more important to mention the breadth of palate and gorgeous mousse balanced by focused acidity and energy w near immortal length 🍾🙌

Jun 23rd, 2023Enjoyed this special edition 2003 Dom Rosé w/friends from LA last Wednesday to celebrate my WBFF Pro card win. Marvelous mouthfeel! A real treat in beautiful packaging.

Oct 17th, 2015Any Dom Rosé deserves its own pedestal but 2008 is arguably the best vintage yet. Looking over my notes from 2000 and 2006 this has more balance and fínese if it is even possible. Shows hints of wild red berries, the acidity is surrounds the palate perfectly, and the finish is long and intense. Just lucky to have tasted this.
