Jul 13th, 2019First wine from Frank Cornelissen and met my expectations. Light fruity chuggable.

Nov 3rd, 2021A hot vintage Susucaru with 14,5% ABV makes for a good BBQ companion. Dark cherry, earth, crushed rock, tannins that bite back. Not much has changed after two years in the cellar, will probably stand for another five, but there is no need if matched with fat, salt and big flavours.

May 30th, 2021For sure some funk, but there is a vibrancy and just plain deliciousness to this wine that makes it work. Dark yet bright fruit, violets, and I always think this wine has a slight pickled cabbage smell, though that was way more apparent in the vintages I tasted a decade ago lol

Oct 6th, 2020Love. This. Wine. Deep red fruit, light effervescence, mild funk, suuuuper easy to drink and as someone else said “chuggable”. Follow label instructions and keep under 60 degrees (prefer it colder, 54 degrees). Haven’t met a Cornelissen wine I don’t love.
