Currant, underbrush, strawberry, spearmint and tobacco/wet leaves on the nose. Bright cherry, medicinal fruit, bit of tannin and a hint of residual sugar that isn't offensive. For $9.99, a great food wine.

Look at that color. Wow. So intense. Almost neon red. Has some nice aromatics that include cherry and raspberry. Those flavors come through later too, along with spearmint, strawberry, and tough acidity. It’s fresh but isn’t landing on the end. I actually dislike the sweetness. Seems unnatural. Ultimately, it falls short of some good rosés from Spain or Provence, but I appreciate the effort of a Cab Sauv rosé.

Good dry rose, nice strawberry flavor on the finish. Had on hot afternoon with chilled gazpacho, bread and cheese- was perfect for the occasion. Will buy again this summer.
