Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Big and bold but beautiful Napa Cabernet. Such a purity of fruit here and masterful use of oak. Would love to try these at 10 and 20 years older

Wonderful aromatics - sweet red berries and wet slate on a sunny day. A great finish dark berries and sweet tea. Great bottle and I can't wait to visit Palmaz Winery on my next trip to Napa!

M+ intensity. Black fruit, cherry berry, cocoa and savory. Umami, mushroom and minerality. M- acid. M body and M round tannins. Long finish. Balanced. Not overly oaked. Beautiful.

Solid wine with a ton of tannins and good fruit.

On opening it was a bit fruit forward with some tannin bite. After an hr or so additional components came out like graphite and leather. Tannins were still firm but softened a bit and only noticeable on its finish.

Outstanding. Raspberry, pencil shavings. Dense fruit, but not overwhelming, opens to some herbs. Day 2 giving cherry and tea. Perfect for Valentine’s Day filets with Madeira mushroom sauce.
