Blackberry, cherry, plum skin, light body, some tannins, pleasant lingering finish. Having it with turkey ragu, which should be just right. 2017. Great value. Merlot Sangiovese, Syrah. Petit Verdot in equal parts.

1 person found it helpfulOct 11th, 2020This wine pours a perfect ruby red. It has a nice nose. Flavors of cranberries, some dried fruit, a bit of oak and maybe cedar. The old world essence is slightly there. After it had been open for just a little while, maybe 20 minutes the tenants really broke out. Wonderfully. It was a tremendous value at Costco for only $10 a bottle. A definite re-buy. #toscana #tuscany #italianwines #costcowines

Feb 28th, 2023Fantastic. Earned its 93 point rating and under $20/bottle. One of my favorites in the last few months! UPDATE: tried a second bottle a few weeks later - just as good. This is a winner.
