Compelling #toscana #blanco - white flowers, grapefruit, chamomile nose. Medium plus body, solid acidity - delicious #malvasialunga wine. — a year ago
Interesting glass cork suggests the name of this wine meaning surrounded by glass in Italian. Pretty good value #supertuscan offering - the distinctive #toscana earthy, spicy fruit from the #sangiovese dominant blend. I enjoyed the robust acidity on the finish with fine tannins. — 2 years ago
Mushrooms vie with roses on an earthy canvas of ethereal red cherries and dried flowers. Violet and raspberry leaf to cherry on a grainy tannic tobacco and cedar with endless complexity. Outrageous Sangiovese!

Aroma speaks to that distinct #toscana wild-cherry, earthy-forest floor thing with a hint of spice. Palate presents with slightly syrupy sweet & sour cherry fruit, sweet tobacco and a spicy finish. 60% #sangiovese 20% #merlot 20% #cabernetsauvignon - nicely balanced, quaffable Super Tuscan blend. — 2 years ago
Delicious #cabfranc #cabernetfranc from #toscana hand harvested. Delicate, less Mediterranean than I expected and actually more like a Loire style. — 3 years ago
Jacobo Biondi Santi Fontecanese.
Floral aromas verge on lavender and violet, delicate cherry panna cotta, with dried red and ripe dark cherries. Clean and lithe. Cherries continue on the palate with a pliable, silky and pleasant tarragon laced tannic completeness. Dried raspberry, blackberry and hints of chocolate. Gorgeous wine

This wine pours a perfect ruby red. It has a nice nose. Flavors of cranberries, some dried fruit, a bit of oak and maybe cedar. The old world essence is slightly there. After it had been open for just a little while, maybe 20 minutes the tenants really broke out. Wonderfully. It was a tremendous value at Costco for only $10 a bottle. A definite re-buy. #toscana #tuscany #italianwines #costcowines — 2 years ago
Unfussy, varietally typical #toscana #sangiovese. Needed a few minutes to open up but classic varietal woodsy slightly spicy red fruit; nicely balanced and paired well with marinara sauce pasta at a charming Italian Trattoria in SoHo NYC. Bottle was priced very accessibly. — 3 years ago
