A very fruit-forward Cabernet S. driven blend. Lots of dark, sweet, brambly fruit, with a touch of licorice and tar/black olive. Smooth & rich on the palate w/o being plush or overripe. Nice balance & precision and finely grained, juicy tannins. Lacks a bit of depth, though, plus the 14% alc are noticeable. A nice one though, esp. with croque monsieur.
