Tough as nails @ 1st, this opened n2 a gorgeous, floral nose that surprisingly reminiscent of #PinotNoir!

This seemed like a young wine, very bright fruits; blackberry, black cherry, some leather and flowers as well.

Nicely balanced, mid-weight brunello. Not top notch but satisfying.

Smells like a forest of wonderfully dirty cherries covered in earth. Nice pipe tobacco and some sweet chocolate. This ‘10 is fresh a Tuscan Daisy, nice balance of acidity/tannin, and great company for herb rubbed flank steak with homemade black olive aioli. There’s some spice around the edges and a long finish to contemplate. Nicely put together. From a 375ml.
Thanks @ FirstBottle

Cranberry with an herbaceous nose. What it lacks in fruit, it more than makes up for in complexity.

We had the 2010 Vintage on 10/28-29/22. Black cherry and even some cedar on the bouquet. Red cherry, raspberry almond and spice on the palate. Medium bodied, still tannic with a short finish. Too many better Brunellos.

Trying to enjoy some spring weather before the rain and cold comes back tomorrow. Doing it with a well aged, easy drinking Brunello.

From 375ml.
N: Chocolate covered morello cherries. Deep nose, sappy pine forest, damp. A hint of clove. Balsam.
P: That’s one fully engaging wine, Deep and bright, a world of browns. Really refreshing, and unctuous, woodlands, prunes, cinnamon. It goes on.
