Oh but The AM totally rock 🤘 although I don’t like their latest stuff too much. I visited Vajra a couple of years ago. They also rock 🤣

The winery started out as producing wines for its restaurant in Barolo exclusively.

This is 100% estate grown fruits. Dark and succulent with hint of purple floral. Delicious.

Haven’t had in 6 months and it was closed then but wow the nose is wide open now. Gorgeous citrus, apricot, herbs and stones. Really aromatic and very compelling. Palate is very 21 with just “wake you up” acids, a chewy density, and maybe 70% mineral and 30% fruit. So pure and what a finish. This is much more open than in January. Unreal finish. Almost 2 minutes. Wow this is tangy, super juicy and ultra clean. What an amazing finish. Just gorgeous. — a month ago

A brawny and pleasant Dolcetto — black fruit forward with hints of anise and an unusually tannic bite. — 25 days ago

Gallina Barbera d'Alba 2000

Never tasted this bottling before, I just hoped for a decent showing. Instead, it completely reshaped my view of Barbera.

Deep opaque garnet with a slight tawny rim. The nose is captivating with blackberry jam, fig, cedar, dry pine cone, worn leather, clove, and a hint of truffle. Seamless palate - full body with vibrant
acidity, supple tannins that still have firm grip, and a velvety texture. Long, elegant finish. Still has 5–8 graceful years ahead. By far the best Barbera I’ve tasted.

In Rhino I trust.
