Apricots, apples and raisins at the start with an oceanic salt at the finish. — 3 years ago
With my homeboys celebrating a bday, while rest of NYC is watching the Super Bowl. An amazing skin contact Italian, from Montalcino no less. Broad but still somehow terroir driven, definitely drink close to room temp. Yellow/ light orange hue, nice mouthfeel and enough prickly acidity to play off the Sicilian. sashimi w Meyer lemon & chili oil but also to keep up with everything else (delicious). Rilento Inzolia Terre Siciliane 2023
Sicily, Italy 🇮🇹
Overview
Made from 100% Inzolia (Ansonica), an indigenous Sicilian grape that thrives in the island’s warm climate and mineral-rich soils. This wine captures the essence of southern Italy: light, fresh, and endlessly approachable.
Aromas & Flavors
Citrus-driven nose with lime zest, jasmine, and a touch of pineapple. On the palate, flavors of green apple, pear, and a delicate mineral edge give it a crisp and summery personality.
Mouthfeel
Light-bodied, zesty, and refreshing with a clean acidity that makes it an easy-drinker. Bright citrus and floral notes linger gently on the finish.
Winemaking Notes
Produced in stainless steel to preserve freshness and varietal purity. Crafted for everyday enjoyment rather than long-term cellaring.
Food Pairing
A natural match with seafood, shrimp pasta, and grilled vegetables. Also delightful as a chilled aperitif for warm-weather sipping.
Verdict
A sunny, citrusy white from Sicily that’s affordable, refreshing, and perfect for casual gatherings. A wine that proves sometimes the simplest bottles bring the most pleasure. — 3 months ago

Passito non troppo forte nè troppo dolce, ottimo se si ricerca un vino da dessert non stucchevole — 5 years ago
This wine is striking to look at. The color is a strident yellow, almost the shade of an amber ale. The nose brings a huge note of dried apricots, almost a sugary sense. There is also a nuttiness to the sniff. On the palate, a mix of apricot and Meyer lemon present one of the more unusual flavor profiles I’ve had recently in a wine. Salinity is high, acidity is fresh, but not sharp. It is quite an exceptional wine, if maybe just not for everyone. At the very least, it’s an opportunity to mark the Ansonica grape on your Century Club list. — 5 months ago
Fascinating natural orange wine from Tuscany. A blend of three local varietals (Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Ansonica) and three days of skin contact. Produces a dichotomy of fruit and nut-focused flavors. Orange peel, peach and apricot, hazelnut and almonds. Strong acidity and a long mouthwatering tart finish. — 2 years ago
