Lush and full bodied, tannic and very ripe fruit. — 10 years ago
Delicious. Easy drinking and so complex for a light white. Getting notes of green fruits, kiwi and honeydew melon and lime. White flowers, like honeysuckle. Good acid. Well balanced — 5 years ago

Color vermell intens, llàgrima apreciable. Fruita negre de bosc (móres, etc) i pebre. Molt ben estructurat. És del 2013 però està ara mateix en el seu moment. 100% recomanable. — 9 years ago
Fabulously rich and very drinkable! — 10 years ago
M'ha agradat molt veure que els anys han suavitzat molt l'acidesa, han intensificat el color, ara és força daurat, i que la fruita blanca ha donat pas a pomes al forn — 10 years ago

This is the Select Blocks Organic SB. On the nose - big wallop of creamy gooseberry fool, guava with a little touch of the sea. In the mouth - a bit subtler than some NZ SBs with a bit of peach stone bitterness to balance the acidity and fruit sweetness- giving a more food-friendly finish than flavour initially suggests. — 4 years ago
Supermarket, probably Waitrose. Good SB, crisp stone fruits. — 5 years ago
Light and fruity. Very quaffable. — 9 years ago
Maybe one of the best Pinot Grigio's I've had. Full bodied, lingering palate. Full of earthy character and crisp melon. Not your typical Punot Grigio. — 10 years ago
Ara, si es refreda prou, és una bona companyia per peixos al forn, a la brasa... — 10 years ago

Albino Armani – “Colle Ara” Pinot Grigio, 2023
Terra dei Forti DOC – Valdadige – Italy 🇮🇹
Overview
A skin-contact Pinot Grigio from Valdadige, crafted with short maceration to extract color, texture, and phenolic grip. The 2023 vintage brings a fresh, lifted profile, balancing structure with vibrancy, far from the neutral, conventional style.
Aromas & Flavors
Layered and expressive: dried orchard fruit, orange peel, subtle spice, and tea-like notes. Savory nuances with a light herbal edge.
Mouthfeel
Textural and structured with gentle phenolic grip (almost tannin-like). Dry, with notable sapidity and salinity, supported by 2023’s bright acidity. Clean, persistent finish without astringency.
Food Pairings
Ideal with Asian fusion, noodles, grilled seafood, and umami-driven dishes. Also excellent with roasted vegetables or lightly spiced cuisine.
Verdict
A smart, expressive Pinot Grigio that bridges classic Italian precision and orange wine philosophy. The 2023 vintage adds extra lift, making it both intriguing and highly drinkable. A perfect “surprise bottle.”

Pinot Grigio has naturally pink/grey skins, which—when macerated, create that copper hue and subtle structure most modern styles avoid. — 2 months ago
