Dark cherry aroma, medium body, drinks like a Cab Sauvignon with a Merlot after taste. Paired beautifully with a spicy, slow braised pork stew. — 10 months ago
Fruit-driven Cab from 20-25 years old vines in Isla de Maipo, just south of Santiago. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Quite jammy nose with aromas of dark fruit (blackberry, cassis, blackberry gummies), red fruit (strawberry, strawberry jam) and hints of bell pepper and tobacco. Medium-bodied, ripe fruit flavors. Very fresh on the palate. Long, spicy finish — 2 years ago
First time trying Chianti. This one specifically was a Chianti Classico riserva. It is a red wine from Italy. It takes a minimum of 24 months of aging with at least 3 months of bottle aging after that. Organoleptic features. Not as dry as I thought it would be. Strong earthy notes which I have experienced for the first time. A lot to taste but easy to enjoy. — 2 months ago
Lots more to come. Looking forward to seeing how it ages. — a year ago
