Extra point for value. Approachable on opening with moderate tannins. Best after 2+ Hours of slow-ox where it opened up nicely. Garnet color with dense rose petal nose. Raspberry, currant and spice and mild graphite mineral on the palate. Smooth moderate well balanced acidity and tannins throughout a lingering finish. — 3 years ago
Beautiful medium amber color; medium plus intensity aromas of peach ring candy, juicy yellow plums, quince, florals, subtle nuttiness; dry, medium plus acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; palate a little less juicy than aromas; very interesting — 3 years ago
Pairs well with sushi and mochi! — 4 years ago
This thing is gorgeous, a little known gem that could compete with Jura at 2-3x the price. Nosebleeds with ample dried apricot, almonds, orzata/almond milk, some ginger, some baking spice. However, the oxidative notes are wonderfully balanced by a punchy salinity that keeps the whole thing alive. At 10C it hits a peak of expressiveness and drinkability. Closer to 15 and the 15.5% alcohol starts saying hello — 7 months ago

May 2013 lot, degorged May 2018. 2021/1/1-2 with mochi, ozouni, etc. more rich fruit and spice than the Minéral - apples, pear tart, apricot, nutmeg, cinnamon rolls, a touch of vanilla. Of course there is still a steely spine underneath it all. — 4 years ago
