Classic Pinot with strawberries and cherry aromas. Medium tannins and medium acidity. A good value even on a restaurant menu. Nice with food. Will get again. — 3 months ago
One of the best example of ripe style California Chardonnay I have ever had. It hits with a savory character of grilled pineapple, then gives away to a variety of ripe stone fruit, a roux of spiced oak and even further back, a crushed rock minerality that keeps the ensemble lifted and enticing. The pallet is even more surprising as it confirms the stone fruit, adds a touch of citrus and slaps you with tingling stony acidity that keeps going and going. The juxtaposition of opulence and lean elegance is outstanding. After drinking through some flabby 2018s recently, this is a smacking reminder of why I fell in love with Jim’s wines to begin with. Malo, butter, minerality, orchard fruit.
Really pretty Burgundian style chard.
Just ripe green fruit. Crisp. Tantalizing. Mineral.
Long finish on the fruit. Would be nice to lay down. — 3 months ago

Drank with Story at Mannys in Manitowish. It was fabulous. — 3 months ago
2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Medium body. Leaning heavily towards a feminine-styled Cabernet and has dropped nearly all of the braggadocio of youth. As mentioned with another reviewer @Jay Kline not even close to being as exciting as the producer’s Les Pavots bottling and fairly one-dimensional. More than a bit disappointing given the initial acclaim. 05.29.25. — 4 months ago

A great Pinot noir with a little cat on the label. I think she’s a little fussy without food and at a high price point, but overall super enjoyable. I also don’t know how you rate anything on here below a 7. Most wine is just good ok??! — 6 days ago
