This wine is from a tiny family farm on Terceira island in the Azores. They provide about 1000l per year. It is clearly an island wine with all the usual minerality that you expect from a wine from the azores but it is a bit more complex than most. The beautiful golden color is achieved by oxidation for a few hours before bottling the wine. As far as I know, this wine is only available on the island and even here only in very few places. So I recommend getting it if you have the chance. Also visit the vinery if you can. The family is super nice and they have plenty more things to try out. — 2 months ago

Field blend of somewhat 14 varieties. 11% ABV. Lucid ruby. Aromatic summer strawberries, cherries, violets. Subtle smokiness. Salinity in the aftertaste entices to take big thirsty gulps. Very reminiscent of the Jura’s (l'Aigle a Deux Tetes) Trousseau. Ideal summer wine! — 5 months ago
