Earthy and delicious! — 7 years ago
Color of vivid ruby, clear with a bit bloody grapefruit note. Nose is nice with dark fruits, oak, a bit spice and strawberry, a bit crayon, and full of nose. Taste is subtle sweetness, very easy to drink, paint, dried strawberries, zesty note, ripe grapes, a bit mineral, and flavors are plenty in harmony. Aftertaste is also long with oak and some more sweetness, some more tobacco leaves, and some subtle acidity, low tannins and very tasty. Nice jewel. — 7 years ago

See previous note from October 2019. As mentioned this garnered 98 points from prestigious UK Wine magazine, Decanter and only cost $24. Excusing the child like label, the contents are very good from a region in Henty/Drumborg better known for their superb Rieslings. Aromas of Carbonic Maceration - confectionery which developed into a dried cherry component and with time rose petals. A lovely savoury driven light to medium weight palate married nicely with the oak. — 5 years ago

The bells in the morning in Siena make me cry with joy! This wine, decanted, was straight out of the Super Tuscan memories in my mind. Kept opening up to be softer and softer. Enjoyed it a lot with Frank, Mariane, and the chick. — 9 years ago

1997 vintage. Good upper shoulder fill. Used a Durand. Solid cork. Decanted with respectable sed. Tasted after 1 hour decanted. Light-medium body. Bit of structure but not too much. An enduring, lingering chocolate note definitely ringing the bells on the finish. In a great spot currently and looks to stay as such for the next half-decade. 10.17.25. — 9 months ago
