Funk, smoke, blue cheese, and, shockingly, apples (both sweet and tart.) Outstanding cider. — a year ago
Had to capture the contrast between the cobalt blue sky and the lava lamp neon orange skin fermented wine. Reminiscent of a Jules Verne novel.
Oranges and apricots in the bouquet blend with honey bee pollen aromas.
Sips of this are sun kisses showering down from the skies as rays of refreshing , thirst quenching flavor.
Clementine surf on a spindrift of apricots cresting into a thyme undercurrent.
Despite having a considerable amount of sediment, which I allowed to diffuse into the elixir, I couldn’t detect much of the funky notes they warn you of. Just rounded out sips of pleasure and satisfaction.
Simply, simply love this. — 4 years ago
A marriage between dry cider and sweet mead. Strong apple notes with honey undertones. Not too sweet. No effervescence. Nice when paired with dried fruit or mixed with brandy. — 5 months ago
Mulling spices, strawberry, cider — a year ago
Beautiful apple cider color.
Straight up mangoes. Pineapples. An effervescence in the nose that cannot be pinpointed. Almost like the spindrift of a cresting wave colored sweet with bee pollen and honey.
Honeyed lavender, citrus peel. This is a Chenin Blanc I’d bring to the beach in the heat, toss a football around, and introduce the bros to a wine that could rival, I hate to say it, a mango white claw. I mean it’s a great picnic wine, too. Or a cheese wine. But convincing bros to drink a Chenin Blanc is a challenge I will accept any day. Now if only I could get to a beach without having to wear a face mask.
It’s a bit on the sweeter side without the bubbles to round it out, but the tropical fruit notes are killer enough to hit the 9s. — 4 years ago
Passion of Sice: Bee Well in Bellaire. Very sweet and tart. Golden delicious applies and passionfruit. I do it would ve good to have 1 glass but I can imagine it would be tiring to get a whole growler — 5 years ago
Orange blossom, citrus grove, bee hive waxy, mango puree, peach flesh.
Straight up sunny delight. Juice bomb.
Zesty AF, zingy, exactly what I was looking for for my next wine club tasting for wines from the movies. This has got Kill Bill written all over it. The hues, the outlandishness (20% cider, 80 % Riesling), the sharp yellow-orange hue.
Gulpable. — 9 months ago
Cider apples, tart, crisp, fresh, easy — 3 years ago
Gold color, medium+ viscosity and medium intensity. Oxidation and Botrytis on the nose: blue cheese, mousy, cider, bruised apple and baked pear, volcanic ash/smoke, red plum, flinty chalky minerality. Fruit went tart on palate, green apple, green pineapple, green mango, still honey saffron wasabi. Dry, medium body, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, long finish. — 5 years ago
