Incredibly funky aromas of earth and barnyard. Pallet is completely different with hints that d bright red fruits and licorice. Incredibly complex. Well structured and well balanced. Soft tannins. — 3 years ago
Dark garnet color with an orange rim. Red and blue fruit on the nose with hints of leather, tobacco and dill. Ripe cherry, blackberry and raspberry fill the palate with touches of balsamic vinegar, orange zest, coffee and black pepper. Medium-plus finish and body with bright acidity. Soft tannins, nice complexity and pretty well rounded. — a month ago
I was a bit doubtful of Sauvignon Blanc grown in Rioja. However, this version happens to turn into a Goldilocks of a wine. It has just enough ripe fruit, in the style of ripe yellow citrus, balanced by some Stony acidity. It is a good all purpose white that will lease both new world and old world palates. — 2 years ago
This gem from the Rioja region is a treat. It presents with black cherry after decanting and has an earthy mouth feel. This is quite enjoyable and stands well on its own or with a nice stew. I highly recommend if you can find it. — 4 years ago

Rrrrrrrraowr! Mushroom and potting soil, prime rib and rosemary. Get the fudge outta my way! Can’t! Dark chocolate dominates in graphite-plum and agro-tannin cedar, cinnamon and tobacco force the issue and the black currant is AGGRESSIVELY assertive! Got black pepper in white pepper sauce! Iron rich liver grill without the bitter; shellfish shell, prune and blackberry show sour aspects and oak tannins spread the word. Spanish oak and sensibility prevail. Beast and the best of such.

2011 vintage. Dark as night. Sampled via Coravin. Medium heavy body. A bit too smooth and without back end structure. Speculating that it exists with enough exposure/decanting but that isn’t obviously apparent from the get-go. 11.6.24. — 16 days ago
