In this year there was no Studio in Bianco made, due to the less favorable weather conditions (hence: “Sol Minore”). In 2014 we are offered an intriguing blend of Friulano, Riesling and Sauvignon. Works like a charm. Refreshing, mediumplus body, developing real depth and character now. Love it.

The 2017 Barolo is a pretty dense wine from proprietor Nicola Oberto. I am used to seeing a bit more finesse and transparency here, but the 2017 is quite a powerhouse. Large-grained tannins add to that impression. Time in the glass brings out hints of spice and tobacco, and yet the 2017 remains a bit rough around the edges. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

Mandarins, herbal and mineral
Quite balanced, elegant and fairly long
Milleuve is a misleading name, it doesn't give the idea of the care they put in every single wine they make at Borgo del Tiglio.

Had another bottle, Wow! Laura Catena, 4th gen winemaker, grew up in Argentine-Italian winemaking family in Mendoza. Wines, named after her children - Luca, Dante & Nicola - background of the label is the McDermott coat of arms of her American husband, Daniel McDermott. Single-vineyard wine from land belonging to the Laborde family. Deep red with big ripe fruits & smoky oak. Palate plum & jammy blackberry, spice with nice earthy character. Tannins are a bit rustic, lingering ending with toasty oak & spice. — 7 years ago
Good Kurt club wine. Solid Italian but nothing special. — a year ago
2021 autumn. Some initial brown funk blew off after a bit, allowing the soft, open-knit nature of the wine to show through. Plenty ripe in this vintage, and thus not the most taut, but a very enjoyable country Nebbiolo — 5 years ago

Unique expression. Considerable brett, right up to my threshold, meaty and animal, savory, tar and leather about. Its got time still, but the powerful Serralunga tannins hold strong despite their grace. Love this vintage and the spine of acid it carries, really lively and nervous wines. Solid by all means — 6 years ago

This is fantastic. So well balanced. Starts very tart with lychee going into stone fruit and melon, but then it comes back to citrus acidity with a good complex finish. I loved it. — 11 days ago
