Borgo Sole

Sasso di Sole

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2020

Delightful reasonably priced Brunello for the quality. Impressive nose on opening with non—aggressive raspberry strawberry cherry mild spice and mild undergrowth. The palate is fruit forward with the same fruit and spice profiles with soft tannins extending the finish for a while. Not sure it will cellar well but it’s at a peak now with little air needed. — a month ago

Beautiful and even elegant, which is a descriptor that not many Pinot Meunier’s often get. Lovely aromatics, incredible texture, great balance. — a year ago

Borgo Cortona Syrah 2015

What a strange syrah from a wonderful town. Wooly Bully tannins! Dark cherry cola gives way to chocolate, nutmeg, maybe plum, and a bunch of barnyard funk. It's awesome! — a month ago

Borgo del Tiglio (Nicola Manferrari)

Collio Chardonnay

Like a stack of poker chips, layers stand symmetrical and equally distant of fruit, spice,, salinity, minerality, and soil, gorgeous blend that shows terroir through the cepage! — 2 months ago
