Someone please tap the 3 dots in the upper right and click “report incorrect wine.” I’ve been waiting over 24 hours for @Delectable Wine to correctly identify this, which is not in their database.
This is the 2020 Bumgarner El Dorado County Cabernet Franc. Purchased at the winery. Nose is open, lots of clove and herb-tinged, deep dark cherry. Mouthfilling initially but then tightens up considerably. Nice acids and tannins. This should age nicely for the next several years as the oak integrates and the wine unclenches. — 7 days ago
@Tom Casagrande, my guess is that the Vinous person tasked with fixing this saw you were consuming this at a GAS STATION, and therefore figured you were just some old wino who wouldn’t care if the varietal was wrong?!?!?! 🤷🤷🤷
Giants winning the World Series may be affecting this post, but this bottle is really singing. Definitely needs more time to mellow, but couldn't resist after Bumgarner closed the door on KC. — 10 years ago
Peaking now, like Madison Bumgarner during post-season. Bright acidity, great richness and balance. Mostly tertiary aromas with some cherry kirsch ripeness. Great CDP — 8 years ago
