A quick CV tasting with Margaret L on her return trip stopover. Excellent example with lively and softish textures and long finish. Opened 10/19/24 dinner with David. Still tasting the same, with Evans pork — 8 months ago

So light in color. Alive with freshness and the lightest touch of tannin for structure and backbone. BYOB blind Italy theme — 4 months ago
From magnum. Traditional nose of brioche., baked apples and citrus.. In the mouth an acid driven palate but hints of hazelnuts and brioche. My only criticism, occasional hints of alcohol peeked through on the finish. I believe this was non- dosage — 8 months ago
The 2017 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Ca'del Laito impresses with its lift and grace, as autumnal spiced cherry-berry fruits are complemented by hints of sweet oak. Ripe red/black berries coast along a core of acids. Hints of dark chocolate and clove come forward toward the close. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2022) — 3 years ago
Clean, pure and incredibly moreish, this was everything you want from Barbaresco - especially at this ££ price point. Other first night with no decant saw some Brett and dominant oak, but the second night it was gorgeous, floral, firm, balanced, beautiful. Big W. — 2 years ago

Had this for our anniversary! New fave. Can’t believe I ever thought I didn’t like Italian wine. Full body, tells a story. Slightly tannic. Blackberry, clay pot. Really really good value for a low splurge. — 18 days ago
