Super interesting. Roche likes to be super ripe and this is no exception. Fun wine. — 8 months ago
Off the cork, I loved. There’s some earth in there, which I loved, but as this opened up, it got a little more floral and a little more sweet… so I pulled back my rating a touch.
Strong fruit upfront with a little spicy clove and firm tannins. Then a floral nose and sweet finish.
Nice glass of wine. — 9 months ago
Fresh and tasty. Ripe cherry and raspberries with a touch of chalky dryness. Tar and coughdrops — 13 days ago
The nose is vibrant and inviting, with bright red fruits woven with hints of baking spice, dried thyme, and a touch of bramble. The palate shows a darker, earthier profile than the fragrant bouquet suggests, yet the fruit remains intense and lively. Tannins are supple but persistent, lending a juicy, grippy texture that lingers.
Lovely Nebbiolo/Barbera blend. — 5 months ago
Used it mostly for a sauce the other night, but three days in fridge it is still pretty great. Best with slight chill. — 9 months ago
