Solid 9.0. Raspberries, blackberries and chocolate. Perfect pairing with a rack of lamb, roast potatoes, asparagus, carrots, and olive and rosemary focaccia. — 6 months ago
The 2022 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard is redolent of sweet dried cherry, spice, new leather, mint and sweet pipe tobacco. This aromatic, gracious Pinot is a charmer. All the elements are nicely balanced throughout. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2024)

Birthday dinner wine. Clay pot, dried cranberry, a little balsamic. Jared cooked ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, risotto and salad. Great pairing! Knocked it out of the park! — 6 months ago
Expressive nose, a bit reduced at first, then on ti ripe cherries, cocoa, liquorice , plums. Ample bodied, son of a dry and hot vintage, acidity that holds the alcohol and hood length and youth for a 2012. Remarkable, unexpected village, Albelda, must be the high land on the way to Clavijo. — 8 months ago
Light ruby hue. Wonderful bouquet of caramel, cherry, cola, oak, raspberry, smoke, strawberry, tar, vanilla. Medium body, medium tannins, and plus acidity. Soft, integrated tannins with a long finish. Very well-balanced. — 2 months ago
Not my favorite Italian, but wasn’t bad. Slight oaky? — 8 months ago
Absolutely a knockout. Last had almost 2 years ago and the time has been good. Decanted 1.5 hours, still fairly primary - would be a delicious one to age more, but so it goes. Aromatically incredible. So deep on the palate with that perfect refreshing note on the finish. Excellent pairing with fennel rubbed roast chicken, mushrooms cooked in the chicken fat, and oven fries with a tarragon aioli. — 9 months ago

Interesting and delicious. Oily and salty. On the richer side. — 12 days ago
