Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several days and consistent throughout. The 2022 Sauvignon pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing and bursting with electricity! Powerful notes of stone fruits, grapefruit, fresh sliced jalapeño, verbena, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acidity. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+, substantial and refreshing. Lovely with northern Italian soft rind cheese. Popped and poured and enjoyed over lunch so no formal notes. I thought this was a wonderfully delicious Friulano with lovely floral notes and orange candies. Acid was great and it worked so well with marinated octopus salad with anchovies. — 5 months ago

2022/6/8-10 with scallop crudo, homemade fresh tagliolini al Portonat, frico, etc. A nice mix of more “typical”, bright Sauvignon Blanc citrus and herbs with richer, stone fruit notes. Strong minerality, sneaky richness and plenty of acidity ensure a strong structure, and subtle depth keeps one coming back. — 3 years ago
