Still a solid Trader Joe’s wine for the price. A bit tiney. Cherry. — 2 months ago
As far as white varieties from Piemonte are concerned, I tend to encounter Arneis more often than Favorita but this was a very welcome way to change things up! The 2019 “Valle dell’olmo”brings a fascinating nose of confected kiwi, orange pith, white pepper and some toe jam. The wine is dry with medium+ acid. Medium+ finish. Drinking really nice right now and can’t really see the purpose in aging it though it would likely hold easily for a few years. — 8 months ago

I’m just going to refer to @Tom Casagrande’s note on this wine from 11/23, I also love the zingy fruit and lovely acidity, I really love that WE’RE seeing more Portuguese dry wines these days in the U.S.!! — 3 months ago
