Youthful dark purple color in this 22-year-old Sierra Foothills Syrah, shows a little more than a kiss of new oak still (which I’d prefer it didn’t, but Susan and Jonathan preferred some clear oak influence in their earlier wines), fruit is still very fresh and moderately rich, in no way overripe, soft tannins, longish finish, kudos to S & J for this wonderful older Syrah!! — 3 days ago
Lovely redfruits and low ABV (11.5%) crispness and freshness, very good balance and acidity, medium-long finish, very good foothills Mourvèdre! — 5 months ago
Beautiful honeyed and floral notes in this Sierra Foothills Viognier, nice balance, medium-long finish, lovely but I think I need to drink the few other bottles I have in the next year or so. — 21 days ago
[62% Zinfandel, 38% Petite Sirah] Dark color, black fruits, some Zin spice, lots of Petite Sirah structure as well, medium-bodied, medium-long finish, solid foothills red blend! — 8 months ago
Lovely sweet red cherry fruit and mineral notes as well, good acid and still quite youthful, medium-bodied, just a little bit of heat (14.9% ABV) shows in the medium-long finish, very good!! — 8 months ago
