I think it deserves the higher score (at least on Delectable) because with air it really stretches out into a medium bodied, gracious beauty. Black fruited, rose petals, some wet leaves, & just overall lovely, smooth mouthfeel. Oh, and about 17$. That’s cray cray. — 5 years ago

A ripe example which may actually be to its detriment for those who enjoy a little more cray cray in their Cabernet Franc. That said, with its balanced red and black fruit and cocoa-y character, this wine could easily be described as elegant. It actually reminded me of the fad a few years back around "chocolate ports". Anyway, there is certainly quality here and much like any and all wines that derive from the Sumac Ridge heritage, this would definitely be a crowd pleaser. — 4 years ago

2022 vintage. From a 2 hectares plot on a hillside oriented to the West. The soil is clay on silex on cray. A rather powerful Sancerre, very mineral, with an exemplary purity and tension, culminating in a long peachy-stony (if that makes sense) finish. Abv. 13,5%. — a year ago
