Château l'Hospitalet

Grand Vin La Clape Syrah Blend 2021

Terrific blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre. Elegant on the palate with blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, red currant, violet, licorice and cedar. Just starting to show tertiary notes of leather, game and forest floor. Medium silky tannins and while the abv is 15% the wine doesn’t feel hot and has beautiful balance and an embracing, long finish. Great balance and finesse. Drinking beautifully now with 5-10 years ahead of it. — 21 days ago

La Forge Boutenac Corbières Carignane 2014

Nose: Quite subtle but still nice flavours of garrigue and red red fruit

Palate: very silky tannins, very subtle, red fruit and rosemary. Good acidity and very easy to drink. Potentially ageing possibilities.

Nose: Very good complexity, ripe black
fruit (black berries, ripe plums), purple flowers, iron; very depth in flavours; hint of oak, vanilla; tiny bit of gooseberry.
Palate: silky and delicate tannins, velvet at the palate with nice consistency. Good potentially for
aging.
