Im a sucker for thick skinned NF rosé. A little weight at 12.5abv — 4 years ago
Color: actually copper like, amber, orange like the setting sun
Aroma: light light apricot, a bit of brown sugar
Tasting Notes: super well balanced, honey, caramel, stone fruit (apricot)
Texture: slight twirl of tannins and acidity but in a nice congruence, a nice balance , bouncy texture, like drinking clouds of sunset — mouthwatering — 2 years ago
Got by mistake but it turned out to be delightful. Very mellow and silky. — 4 years ago
Merlot, Cab, CF, 2% Barbera!? Slightly charred blue fruit and cherry lozenge. Balance, beautiful acids, and 12.5%abv just fresh fresh fresh Long Island wine. The Sandlands Trousseau is disappointing compared to this. So much character and balance. — 3 years ago
Simple Merlot Lagrein Blau blend but I’m not sure why it’s so compelling. Delicious. — 3 years ago
This wine is wild! White/orange blend with 32% Pinot Grigio, 29% Chardonnay, 14% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muscat Ottonel, 8% Gewurztraminer, and 7% Tocai Friulano. Some of the grapes see skin contact. We had it with falafel, and it was great. I think you could serve this with any kind of Middle Eastern food. — 4 years ago

I’d almost forgotten I had this lying in a forgotten corner of the cellar. It’s a blend of 35% Semillon 28% Roussanne, 16% Chardonnay 15% Chenin Blanc 6% Clairette. It’s delicious and has lots of character. Deep greenish gold color is striking. I love the nose: lanolin, pear, candle wax, a wee bit of honey, crushed rock. Deeply flavored. It’s got the weighty texture of the Semillon and Roussanne components in the fore. Lovely fruit up front transitions into a minerally finish with a nice bitterish note. Pretty decent acids. Love it! — 16 days ago
