High elevation-Single Vineyard Languedoc beauty. Lovely red cherry and spice aromas with hints of smoke and minerals. Dark cherry and black fruit flavors are complemented with Asian spices and Forrest Floor. Silky tannins and long finish. Exceptional balance. Revisited in December 2021. Still fantastic. Revisited again in December 2022. Aging gracefully! Beautiful wine. Thank You for this one, Kasey. — 3 years ago

Excellent with peat, iodine and a ton of hard candy. I drank most of it neat and added some water to the last bit. Sorry I did that as it just dumbed down everything. — 9 months ago
Lovely cherry and cherry blossom nose. Cherry, cinnamon, minerals, and fresh strawberry on the palate. Medium tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid that lingers long into the finish. Beautiful structure and balance. A beautiful wine start to finish in the Burgundy style. — 3 years ago

Another reminder why Patagonia wines are worth seeking out.A higher toned Malbec & sleeker- as if all the notes are moved up a notch. A player in a dinner w friends: Pasta E Fagioli w Radicchio, Spinach torte w raisins & nutmeg, Braised beef w white wine, & almond/ ricotta torte. — 3 years ago

Washington State Rhône-style blend of Mourvèdre (45%), Grenache (31%), Syrah (12%), Counoise (8%), Grenache Blanc (2%) and Picpoul (2%). Bright ruby color. Aromas of black raspberry, kirsch, dried rose petals and herbs as well as smoked meat. Dark fruit on the palate as well as black olives, tobacco and black pepper. A bit of pleasant bitterness on the long finish. Fine grained tannins and a silky texture. Quite savory with a touch of Brett. A fine example of a wine that has benefited from proper aging. Spectacular vintage of this underrated wine. — a month ago
