A typical more regional Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Youthful with some degree of complexity, fruit-forward of plenty of dark cherry and mulberry, a bit smoky, woody and erathy, with some persistent tannins. Rich and textured mouthfeel, mid-long finish with some astringency, well-balanced and taste better with food rather than by itself. It needs to be splashed decanted for 30-45 minutes to appreciate its potential. — 6 months ago
Lovely cherry and cherry blossom nose. Cherry, cinnamon, minerals, and fresh strawberry on the palate. Medium tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid that lingers long into the finish. Beautiful structure and balance. A beautiful wine start to finish in the Burgundy style. — 4 years ago
I called Bordeaux blend but new world. It is mostly mouvedre which was surprising. Then Grenache and only 3% Syrah. Liked it a lot, just a bit surprising. — 2 years ago

High elevation-Single Vineyard Languedoc beauty. Lovely red cherry and spice aromas with hints of smoke and minerals. Dark cherry and black fruit flavors are complemented with Asian spices and Forrest Floor. Silky tannins and long finish. Exceptional balance. Revisited in December 2021. Still fantastic. Revisited again in December 2022. Aging gracefully! Beautiful wine. Thank You for this one, Kasey. — 4 years ago
